9/16/1988"LA Brothers Attacked in Case Similar to Vincent Chin"Asian WeekTwo white men verbally and physically assaulted three Chinese men dining at the L.A. Because the white men thought the Chinese men were Japanese, one of the men told Asian Week he hoped that it wouldn’t “turn into another Vincent Chin case.”
5/5/1992"El espectaculo debe continuar [= The Show Must Go On]"La OpiniónLos Angeles's art scene recuperates; the comedian group Latins Anonymous performs at the restaurant L.A. Nicola (4326 Sunset Boulevard).
8/27/1992"A Neon Beacon on Sunset Moves On"Los Angeles TimesThe landmark restaurant L.A. Nicola at 4326 Sunset Boulevard closes due to the unfulfilled expectation of a revitalization of Sunset.
