4/4/1985"Staff Negotiating for New City Hall on Sunset Boulevard"Los Angeles TimesNegotiations are underway between West Hollywood officials and brokers for country singer Kenny Rogers to move into and use the seven-story Kenny Rogers Entertainment Complex (8370 Sunset Boulevard) as the new City Hall. Some council members expressed concerns over how Sunset Boulevard was not central to the community or accessible to senior citizens, as well as how it “may be a little too elegant for West Hollywood.”
